SIÂN MORRIS

Journalist Portfolio

Home: Welcome

ABOUT ME

My name is Siân Morris (pronounced like 'Sharn') and I am an aspiring journalist. In July 2020, I completed my MA in Multimedia Journalism from Bournemouth University and in the months since I have been flexing my writing muscles by building up this portfolio. I chose journalism because having studied International Relations for my undergraduate degree, I am passionate about making a big and complicated world more accessible and understandable to everyday people. Although I love writing about international politics - a year studying in Strasbourg means the EU is a bit of an obsession of mine - I'm also interested in the environment, social justice, internet culture, films, music, and video games.

I can write in a news style, features style, or a more informal blog style. Below you can see a small selection of my news and feature writing as well as some video work I was able to make during my time studying at Bournemouth University.

For a more complete Portfolio, check out the blog section of this site.
